The Maze Within uses shifting gradients of violet, cyan and gold paired with earthy greens, muted mauves, and soft neutrals. This balance of vibrancy and calm mirrors the book’s themes of duality and inner exploration.
Cover design
The cover design offers a glimpse into the maze, using layered illustrations that hint at the book’s inner journey. Its textured style carries seamlessly from the chapter artworks, unifying the visual language.
Spread layout
Each spread is designed with a careful balance of text, white space, and visuals, creating a natural flow for the reader. The layouts maintain clarity while seamlessly weaving in illustrations to enhance the narrative.
